Gotta say, this project seems like its going to be hard!! BUT on the flip side, I'm also excited to get started on it because I know that it is going to be great to learn how to make a WebQuest, but not only that to be able to use what I have created with some of my students. I know that I want to create a science WebQuest. And since the fifth graders are going to be tested maybe I will focus on a fifth grade standard... But maybe I will choose a fourth grade standard because I know that they also are tested on those standards as well. And being that I teach science for ALL of NEW Academy, I can use the WebQuest for the fourth grade classes as well!!!
I have a feeling this assignment is going to be a challenge, but in the long run I think I'm going to love it.

Mariela, it is big task but you have a long time to work on it. You should be working strategically and procedurally.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need to make it something that you will be able to use. given your position, you can make it cross grade level with little effort. What strand of science are you thinking?
I was thinking because it will take some time I would focus on standards that are covered later on in the year. So I was thinking of creating a webquest on electricity.
